About the program
My Internet Database is a very easy to use yet powerful Windows™ database program for storing all your internet website links (URL's) and your website Logon ID's (user names) and Passwords.
Requirements
Windows 98/XP/Vista/Windows 7 (32 bit)
A monitor with a screen resolution of 800 x 600 or greater.
An Internet Browser such as Internet Explorer which comes with Windows.
Some of the programs main features
- Go to (open) a selected website directly from the program.
- File encryption for all your website logon and password details.
- File encryption for your program access password.
- Optionally record notes about individual websites.
- The program will record the added, updated, last visited dates and the number of visits.
- Define your own categories to enable the grouping of websites of the same type.
- Copy your Logon ID (User Name) ready to Paste into the logon area of a website.
- Copy your Logon Password ready to Paste into the logon area of a website.
- Optionally view or hide your Logon ID and Passwords in the Browse List.
- View the Browse List in either of the different sort orders available.
- View a selected Category (group of websites) only in the Browse List.
- Search the database (F3).
- Tag [√] websites in the Browse List as being a favorite.
- Highlight websites in the Browse List as an additional form of indexing.
- View only [√] tagged or highlighted websites in the Browse List.
- Set your preferred program defaults under the Preferences menu.
- Comes with its own data backup utility.
General information
My Internet Database is an expansion of a program we developed for our own use which we have used for many years now. Because we found it so useful over the years it inspired us to revise it for all to use.
